 1.During last vacation we went to our uncles home in Nuwaraeliya by train. 2.My father had booked seats in a luxury train. 3.The train left the station and went fast towards the hill country. 4.The sound of the train and wind thrilled us a lot.  5.As we reached the central hills the climate becomes cooler. 6.We traveled through tea states and tunnels And inside the tunnels.It was very dark. 7.We got off the train in Nuwaraeliya in the evening. 8.Then we walked to our uncles home which is in 2 Km far from the station. 9.When we travelling we saw a couple of sellers and we bought some goods from them. 10.I will never forget that train journey. 

 1.My favourite religious festival is Vesak.Vesak is most important religious festival of Buddhist. 2.Vesak falls in the month of May. 3.All Buddhists go to temple on this day. 4.Some people observe sil on Vesak day. 5.Buddhists people do various religious activities on that day. 6.They make Vesak lantons and light them at night. 7.They give alms to poor people. 8.Buddhists refrain from doing sinful deeds on this day. 9.They don't kill animals or don't eat meat on this day. 10.I like to enjoy Vesak festival.

1.I spent my last weekend at grand parents home in Anuradhapura. 2.I went there with my parents and some of my friends.  3.My grandparents vary happy to see us. 4.My grandfather took me to paddyfield and taught me how to grow paddy. 5.I met my aunt's children and we played. 6.After I spent several hours with my aunt's children and we bathed in the tank. 7.After that my Grandfather took us to see many beautiful places in countryside. 8.And also I fed the fish in the small streme. 9.Finally we were worked in the paddyfield and we had our lunch at 'Kamatha'. 10.I was vary happy at the weekend.

 1.My favourite TV program is Atapattama. 2.It is an entertainment program which has some educational value. 3.It is telecast on Wednesday on ITN channel. 4.Most of my friends also watch this program and it is a good program for children. 5.Sometimes my parents join me to watch this program.  6.The presenter present this Program in an interesting humorous way. 7.We can know more about the world by watching this program. 8.And also this has been the most popular program for many years. 9.In this program we can see various typed of animals,places,various traditions and cultures etc.. 10.I love this program.

 1.The world is rapidly changing as a result our needs have become very complex. 2.In thus modern complex world we can't satisfy our needs with the little resources we have. 3.We have to deal with other countries and cultures as well. 4.For that purpose we should have a language that is accepted by all in the world. 5. English is the only language which has such a recognition.so it extremely important for everyone. 6.Learning English has become essential in modern world as every new things comes to our hands with English instructions. 7. As this is a communication era the world totally depends on computers. 8.We can't work with computers without knowing English. 9.Not only that knowing English is a must for education. 10.If we know English we can read a lot of things on any subject and learn by using the Internet.

1.My Village is bulugolla. 2.It is situated in Kurunegala.  3.It takes 3 hours to reach Colombo from Bulugolla. 4.There had been lot of birds in my Village. 5.The Village is quite big and the people live there peacefully. 6.The majority of them do farming. 7.And some are engage in the bras industry.  8.There are beautiful paddy fields,small woody areas,water springs in my village.  9.The animal doctors are very famous in my Village. 10.I love my Village.
